Meghan Markle’s Netflix lifestyle show, With Love, Meghan, secured a nomination at the Daytime Emmys. The announcement was made on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. While the nomination left the internet heavily divided, it seems that Megyn Kelly is not too pleased with the decision. Not only did she ridicule the nomination, but she also lashed out at the show’s concept.
Kelly bashed Meghan’s show on the Wednesday, July 15 episode of her show, The Megyn Kelly Show. Calling With Love, Meghan “hideous,” the journalist said, “It’s amazing to me. Quite possibly the actual worst product to hit television over the past five years, and now she has managed to get an Emmy.”
Megyn Kelly Calls Meghan Markle’s Show ‘Cringy’
Furthermore, she recalled the contents of the show, labeling it as “cringy.” The former attorney added, “I forgot just how cringy it was. Here’s just a reminder of some of how that program looked.”
The former Suits star’s show previously received heavy backlash from critics, who called it performative and nonsensical and were especially disappointed with her for showcasing basic household tasks and simple culinary skills.
Kelly also mocked one of the episodes where the Duchess of Sussex spent the entire time putting the store-bought Trader Joe’s peanut butter pretzel nuggets into a customized Ziploc bag.
The former America Live host said, “Elevate. We have to elevate everything. You can elevate your peanuts and your pretzels by taking them from the store-bought bag and transferring them into a cellophane bag. That’s an elevation.”
Kelly also took aim at Meghan Markle’s interaction with the celebrity guests who appeared on her show. She said, “This is one of the most glamorous moments of my life. Sure, that’s how my friends talk to me too when they come over. They’re always telling me how glamorous everything is when they’re hanging out with me.”

Megyn Kelly’s Criticism of Markle Draws Mixed Reactions
Kelly also alleged that getting an Emmy nomination is “meaningless” for the As Ever founder, but it will perfectly fit her brand. On this, the host continued to rip apart With Love, Meghan’s Emmy nomination, adding, “No, I just want to incorporate these tricks into your everyday life as she prances around in a beekeeper’s outfit. Clearly, she’s got enough juice left in the can to get an Emmy nomination out of this, which is meaningless, but right on brand for her.”
According to reports, despite the Netflix show featuring celebrity guests like Tan France, Mindy Kaling, Abigail Spencer, and Chrissy Teigen, it was not renewed for a third season by the streamer. It was produced in collaboration with Meghan’s brand, As Ever.
Social media users also strongly reacted to Megyn Kelly ripping apart Meghan Markle’s Daytime Emmy Nomination. An X user said, “I’m not a fan of Megyn Kelly, but she is spot on with this.” A YouTube comment under Kelly’s show said, “Meghan Markle must have paid someone lots of money to get that nomination.” A social media user chimed in, “Emmy nominated? Are you kidding me?”
However, some social media users bashed the host instead for targeting the mother of two. An X user wrote, “Megyn Kelly’s ratings are dropping; people cannot stand her, so she will go back to abusing Meghan Markle.” Another user on X stated, “Just who is Megyn Kelly other than a person who likes belittling others?” Another comment said, “Cry harder; Meghan Sussex keeps winning.”
