Timothée Chalamet may be one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, but he admitted he was the one feeling starstruck after meeting the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.
The actor attended the World Cup match between France and Spain at Dallas Stadium on Tuesday, July 14, where he was spotted greeting members of the famed cheer squad in a video shared on Instagram by the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and the NFL.
As Chalamet greeted the group, he hugged several of the cheerleaders before introducing himself.
“Yo, nice to meet you guys,” he said in the video.
He then turned toward the camera with a smile and joked, “I’m starstruck.”
Chalamet attended the match wearing a France jacket in support of the national team. Video from the stadium showed fans cheering after noticing the actor in the crowd. When he pointed to the France logo on his jacket, however, part of the stadium responded with boos.

Earlier this year, the actor celebrated alongside players on the court after the New York Knicks won the NBA championship, later declaring in a video obtained by ESPN’s SportsCenter that the title meant more to him than an Academy Award.
“Way rather this than the Oscars,” Chalamet said after the victory.

Chalamet has become a familiar face at Knicks games in recent years, regularly attending playoff matchups at Madison Square Garden. During the team’s postseason run, he was frequently joined by girlfriendKylie Jenner, and the pair often coordinated their outfits on game days.
The actor also celebrated with fans during the Knicks’ championship parade in New York City and later reflected on the team’s Eastern Conference Finals run in an Instagram Stories post after one of the victories.
“What a night worth the hangover,” he wrote alongside a photo of himself celebrating on the court with longtime Knicks fan Spike Lee.
