Sting Makes Surprise AEW Return Before Major Title Change at All In

The Icon Sting made a surprise return at AEW All In: London and helped Darby Allin become the new TNT Champion.
AEW’s All In: London pay-per-view featured Kevin Knight defending the TNT Championship against Darby Allin in a Falls-Count-Anywhere match. Allin looked to get retribution against Knight, who turned heel on him at Double or Nothing earlier this year, and he was willing to put his own life and limb on the line for it.
With anything-goes rules, Kevin Knight brought in his Don Callis Family partners to gain the advantage. Brian Cage and Jake Doyle blindsided Darby Allin during the match and later tied him up with some tape. However, Steven Borden Jr. came to Allin’s defense but was taken out by Cage and Doyle.
Sting returned to help Darby Allin win the AEW TNT Championship
The heels brought a ladder into the ring and had Darby Allin in position for a coast-to-coast. However, the lights went out, and Sting made his AEW return, firmly grasping his baseball bat. He took out Brian Cage and Jake Doyle on the way to the ring and handed the bat to Allin. The latter hit him with a couple of bat shots and sent Knight to the Icon for a Scorpion Death Drop.
Sting and his son Steven Borden Jr. set up a ladder in the ring and climbed up. However, Borden Jr. persuaded his father to let him take the risk and performed a splash onto Brian Cage and Jake Doyle to the outside.

Darby Allin then chased after Kevin Knight, who was retreating up the ramp. He slammed him onto the stage and climbed up the truss, which the commentators described as 20-30 feet high. Allin then performed a high-risk Coffin Drop onto Knight through the stage.
The medical team put Kevin Knight on a stretcher. However, Darby Allin remembered what Knight did to him earlier this year, and performed a Coffin Drop off the ramp onto Knight on the stretcher. He then pinned him to score the victory and became a three-time AEW TNT Champion.
