Sarah Ferguson is being lined up to appear in a television documentary after returning to Britain, according to reports.
The former Duchess of York is said to be weighing up “many approaches” from producers keen for her to tell her side of the story of her alleged role in the Epstein scandal.
However, she was considering working on her own programme to retain control of the narrative, The Sun reported.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s former wife, 66, disappeared from public view after she and Mr Mountbatten-Windsor were evicted from Royal Lodge in Windsor.
Ms Ferguson relinquished her title alongside Mr Mountbatten-Windsor in October 2025 after repeated revelations about his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein.
Weeks later, the King confirmed that his brother would be stripped of his remaining titles, and that he and Ms Ferguson would have to surrender the lease on Royal Lodge. She has not been seen in Britain since leaving the property.
Ms Ferguson is believed to have been staying at a chalet in Verbier, a Swiss ski resort. The property belonged to Paddy McNally, a racing tycoon who was one of her closest friends. McNally died last month aged 88.
She is also said to have visited Princess Eugenie, her younger daughter, in Portugal to help care for her granddaughter, Adelaide Elizabeth Annina Brooksbank, who was born on Aug 3.

Ms Ferguson will rent a six-bedroom gated property in the Home Counties, according to The Sun. It said removal vans had been seen collecting items of hers from Mr Mountbatten-Windsor’s home in Sandringham, Norfolk, this week.
She is expected to move into the property “imminently” and as soon as next week, the newspaper said.
A source told the newspaper: “Fergie has been bombarded with requests from all over the world to do sit-down interviews, especially with the big streamers, to tell her side of the story.
“She is looking at her options. For her, it’s more about retaining editorial control rather than making money.
“Sarah has a tight-knit group of friends and is extremely well connected. She would only allow someone she knew well to tell her story.”
In 2011, Ms Ferguson made her own documentary Finding Sarah: From Royalty to the Real World, with the Oprah Winfrey Network.
Earlier this year, after revelations in the Epstein files, Thames Valley Police began investigating Mr Mountbatten-Windsor. He has been accused of forwarding official reports about trips as a government trade envoy to Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam and China to Epstein.
Mr Mountbatten-Windsor is facing questions about whether he leaked sensitive information to his friends and contacts during his time as an envoy, a post he held from 2001 to 2011.
The former Duke of York was arrested then released by the force on his 66th birthday in February. He has always denied wrongdoing.
