Meryl Streep doesn't want Robert De Niro on her team!

Appearing on the Today show on Wednesday, April 29, in pre-recorded interview with Jenna Bush Hager, the actress, 76, who is promoting her new movie, The Devil Wears Prada 2, was gushing about her friendship with costar Stanley Tucci when she mentioned that De Niro, 82, wasn't the best to have game nights with.

“I love Stanley. We have played a lot of charades together at various parties,” Streep said of Tucci, 65, adding, “Try not to get Robert DeNiro on our team because he's the worst.”

Tucci appeared to be in agreement with Streep, while their costar Emily Blunt burst out laughing.

“Very shy and he's just not good at it,” Streep continued before doing an impersonation of De Niro struggling to play the game.

Streep and De Niro have collaborated multiple times over the years in movies such as The Deer Hunter (1978), Falling in Love (1984) and Marvin's Room (1996).

Elsewhere in the interview, the costars spoke about how so much had changed since working together on the first Devil Wears Prada movie, which was released 20 years ago.

Speaking about reuniting, Streep told Today, “I was thrilled. I don't know if they were thrilled but I was, ‘Hi everybody!' ”

Tucci then joked, “It was sort of like, ‘Oh, she's back.' ”

“You know I think this film changed my life in a huge way,” Blunt said. “Obviously a lot has happened in 20 years, we've had kids, he married my sister,” she added in reference to Tucci tying the knot with her sister Felicity Blunt in 2012.

“We are so related,” Blunt, 43, said, to which Tucci joked, “We're over related.”

The Devil Wears Prada sequel will see Streep reprise her role as Runway editor-in-chief Miranda Priestley, Hathaway as Andy Sachs, Blunt as Emily Charlton and Tucci as Nigel Kipling.

New cast members include Kenneth Branagh, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, Simone Ashley, Pauline Chalamet, Patrick Brammall and Caleb Hearon.

According to Variety, the sequel follows Priestly “as she navigates her career amid the decline of traditional magazine publishing and as she faces off against Blunt’s character, now a high-powered executive for a luxury group with advertising dollars that Priestly desperately needs.”

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is in theaters May 1.
