Meghan Markle‘s Netflix lifestyle series, “With Love, Meghan”, has earned a Daytime Emmy Award nomination in the Outstanding Lifestyle Program category. However, recent reports indicate that Netflix has no plans to continue the show beyond its existing episodes.

The series, which debuted in March 2025, featured the Duchess of Sussex welcoming celebrity guests, including Chrissy Teigen and Mindy Kaling, to her kitchen for conversations about food, entertaining, crafts and home living. It ran for two seasons and later received a holiday special.
The Emmy nomination surprised many royal watchers because the series reportedly struggled to gain strong viewership on Netflix. According to Netflix’s engagement report, the first season drew 5.3 million views and ranked 383rd among the platform’s most-watched titles during the reporting period. The second season did not appear in the top 1,000 titles for the second half of 2025, while the holiday special also ranked outside the top 1,000.
The nomination quickly sparked debate across social media, where users shared a wide range of opinions. One person asked, “How???? It was a dismal flop according to Netflix charts.” Another simply wrote, “What a joke.” A third questioned, “Is that a joke? ?” Someone else wondered, “How does this nomination process work?” Another commenter wrote, “I didn’t expect this nomination at all.”

Others defended the recognition. One supporter shared, “I loved her show and thought it was amazing!!” Another congratulated Markle, writing, “Oh Duchess Meghan, the woman you are! Congratulations on your creative achievement! This was like your lovesong to all things cozy, yummy and beautiful! I’m so happy for you!!” A different fan added, “Well deserved. Earlier this year, a source told “People” that there were currently no plans for a third season of “With Love, Meghan”. However, future specials or standalone projects have not been ruled out.
Despite the mixed online reaction, the Daytime Emmy nomination gives Markle’s lifestyle series industry recognition and keeps the show in the spotlight months after its release.
