Comedian John Mulaney has postponed three Minnesota shows in light of the fatal shooting of 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis.
Good was killed after an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent fired into her vehicle on a Minneapolis street on Jan. 7.
Mulaney, a former "Saturday Night Live" writer, pushed shows initially scheduled for Jan. 9-11 at the Armory in downtown Minneapolis due to the "heartbreaking" events in the city.
"I hate to postpone shows in a town going through such awful challenges and such grief, because it feels unfair to the audience," Mulaney wrote on X on Jan. 8. "Still, I don't feel comfortable asking thousands of people each night to leave their homes, gather at the venue, and then make their way home when the situation is so unsafe."

He added, "I am sorry to anyone who is disappointed. I know a fun stand-up show could be a nice distraction, but it doesn't sit right with me to put anyone at risk."
The shows have been rescheduled for April 10, 11 and 12 and refund inquiries may be made through Ticketmaster, he added.

Federal immigration agents surged into Minneapolis days before the shooting as part of the Trump administration's ramping up of enforcement actions on illegal immigration.
In an interview with Newsmax, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Acting Director Todd Lyons described the operation in the state as "the largest immigration operation ever."
