Jennifer Aniston and boyfriend Jim Curtis remain “very, very happy” over a year into their romantic relationship.
On September 2, the couple will mark a major milestone as the actress interviews her boyfriend onstage at Manhattan’s 92nd Street Y.
The public conversation comes ahead of the release of the hypnotherapist’s new book, The Book of Possibility, which comes out on September 8.
Jennifer Aniston has notoriously tried to keep her personal life private—but when it comes to boyfriend Jim Curtis, she doesn’t want to keep it under wraps.
The actress and Curtis, a hypnotherapist and life coach, have been dating for more than a year and “They’re still very, very happy,” a source told Page Six, adding that, at present, marriage apparently isn’t a priority for them. (Aniston has been married twice before—to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005, and to Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2018.)

In fact, as Curtis prepares to release his new book The Book of Possibility, Aniston will interview her boyfriend at The 92nd Street Y in Manhattan on September 2, ahead of its September 8 release date. “This relationship is succeeding on so many levels because it’s got things that Jen’s never had before,” the insider told Page Six.
“She doesn’t feel like she has to work to impress him or keep him,” the source added. “She doesn’t feel like she has to compete with other more famous women who are after him.” The source added, “And most of all, she never, ever questions where she stands with him—he has zero hesitation about letting her know that he is crazy about her and is totally devoted.”

Curtis previously told Today’s Craig Melvin that they “were just introduced by friends,” and after finding out they had mutual friends, “we started to just chat, and it took a long time.” The couple were first spotted together in July 2025 off the coast of Mallorca, Spain, and went public with their relationship later that year. Curtis is close with Aniston’s tight-knit friend group; on August 25, he joined Aniston and Friends co-stars Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow for dinner at Tower Bar at Hollywood’s Sunset Tower hotel.

Curtis “doesn’t play games, doesn’t do hard-to-get, doesn’t try to make himself seem bigger by expecting [Aniston] to shrink herself,” the insider said. “He is in no way threatened by her fame and has no illusions that he’s the one who needs to join her world, not expect her to change to suit him. He loves her for exactly who she is.”
A source speaking to People said that The Morning Show star feels “really good” about her romance with Curtis, adding, “Jen’s always been fine on her own and comfortable being single, but her relationship with Jim is just different.” A source previously told Us that, when it comes to her new relationship, “Everyone who knows Jen is so happy for her. She’s an amazing person who is universally loved. They all think this is going to last and that Jim is the one.”

And she’s not afraid to shout it from the rooftops. “Jen is more public with Jim because she feels confident in their relationship and where it’s going,” a source told Us. An insider added, “He’s brought her so much happiness and security that she feels comfortable sharing. It takes a special person for her to be open again after her public divorces.”
“She finally feels secure enough to share without any fear,” the source said. “Jen’s saying this is her person. She wouldn’t do that unless she was sure. She’s tired of hiding her joy.”
The Friends star is “very happy and comfortable,” a source told People. “He’s just so sweet and supportive of her. He makes her everyday life better.”
