Ella Langley has quickly emerged as one of the hottest new faces in country music–but some fans were left gobsmacked as they found a resurfaced clip featuring the singer from just four years ago.

Langley has made a mark for herself in country music in the last two years, first appearing on the scene in late 2024 before blowing up to become a celebrity sensation in 2026 with hr massive hit, Choosin’ Texas.

Now, one day after she playfully responded to a comment from Doja Cat, where the rapper said she didn’t know who she was, some fans have begun to recognize older clips of the singer from before she was famous.

Several fans were left floored after a clip from 2022 resurfaced of the singer while she was starting out in her career.

In the image, which was a Get Ready With Me, she shared she was opening for Big N’ Rich, before showing fans her makeup routine for going out on stage. However, as she completed her look, fans were flabbergasted by how subtle and down-to-earth she looked at the time.

“This was ella langley only 4 years ago? She looked so different here,” one person wrote on X.

Several others also shared their surprise as they praised her look.

“She’s pretty the[n], pretty now,” one person said, while a second wrote, “Gotta love her down to earth ways.”

“This makes me love her more. Genuine,” a third added, while a fourth commented, “I’ve been a fan since 2023, she’s always had tyle and grace even without the cosmetic and branding.”

Others pointed out that her dramatically different look these days was due to some weight loss and a major change in her hairstyle–as well as natural aging, as she is now 27, but was only 23 in the clip.

“She looks the same, now just wears a wig or grew her hair out,” one person said, while a second chimed in “Weight loss + hair style change different makeup style!”

“Can’t believe someone in their early 20’s has a completely different look than in their late 20s. Totally unheard of,” a third added, while a fourth wrote, “She has always been a beautiful girl. Lost weight and got the bangs. The rest is history. I love her.”

The clip resurfacing comes as Langley’s carer continues to blow up after she initially made headlines over a rumored love triangle involving Riley Green and Megan Moroney.

However, she and Green, with whom she dueted on the track You Look Like You Love Me, have both vehemently denied that they are more than friends, with Langley also urging fans not to listen to internet gossip and to focus solely on the music she and the others put out.
