Bebe Rexha Shuts Down Jordan Clarkson Dating Rumors With One-Word Answer

Bebe Rexha gave a quick answer to the dating rumors about her and New York Knicks guard Jordan Clarkson.

TMZ Sports caught up with Rexha in New York this week and asked whether there were any “sparks” between her and Clarkson after the two spent a day together in the city last month.

Rexha shook her head before answering, “friends.”

The rumor began with photos of Rexha and Clarkson at an art session in New York, followed by an appearance at a Vogue and CFDA event at Rockefeller Center. Neither had publicly described the outing as romantic.

Rexha Called Clarkson a Friend

The exchange with TMZ lasted only a few seconds. Rexha was taking pictures with fans when she was asked directly about Clarkson and whether the pair had anything romantic going on.

She did not give a long explanation. TMZ reported that she shook her head no and called Clarkson a friend.

Clarkson has not publicly announced a relationship with Rexha. The speculation came from their appearances together, not from a statement by either of them.

The Rumors Started With an Art Session in New York

Rexha and Clarkson were photographed together on July 27 during an art session with artist Leopoldo Gout at New York Vintners.

TMZ reported that one photo showed Clarkson posing with his arm around Rexha, while another showed the pair and Gout with the finished artwork.

New York Vintners said the three created the original piece together and teased that the artwork would be donated to charity.

The Vogue Event Kept the Rumors Going

Rexha and Clarkson later attended Vogue and the CFDA’s United Flags of Fashion celebration at Rockefeller Center. TMZ reported that they were photographed together throughout the evening and later left the event together.

The event itself was a public fashion celebration, not a private date. Vogue reported that United Flags of Fashion brought more than 100 designers together to reinterpret flags representing U.S. states and territories for America’s 250th anniversary.

Those photos kept the dating chatter alive through August. Asked directly at the end of the month, Rexha said Clarkson was a friend.
