Anne Hathaway has another little one on the way. Talking about her third pregnancy, the Oscar-winning actress admitted she was “shocked” when she found out she was pregnant. The 43-year-old, who married Adam Shulman in 2012, is already a proud mother to two sons: Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6.

Speaking on Late Night with Seth Meyers on July 13, Hathaway, who announced her pregnancy in an Instagram video shared on June 19, revealed she was “shocked” when she received the news. She said, as per Just Jared, “It’s amazing. I mean, we knew what we were doing, but we were so shocked it worked.”

Reflecting on the surprise, Hathaway said, “We know, we knew, and yeah. But no, we were just… so shocked it went this way,” adding that she and Shulman have called this baby their “buzzer-beater.”

Meyers, who also has three children, also shared a humorous piece of parenting advice after Hathaway asked what she could expect. To which he joked and said, “Weirdly, it just kind of, it goes on autopilot. It just turns out once there’s three, there’s not much you can do except watch… It goes from like, you’re just terrified, and then it just turns into like a TV show you binge.”

The Devil Wears Prada star, who has not publicly disclosed whether she is expecting a boy or a girl, took the advice and responded, “Okay, okay, that’s great because I love the channel right now. So, it’s just more of that.”

Amid her pregnancy, Hathaway is also promoting Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, where she will play the role of Penelope. With a reported budget of $250 million, according to Newsweek, the film, set for worldwide release on July 17, is expected to be one of the year’s biggest blockbusters.
